Artface is always looking for artists to submit their art work, writers and journalists to write
articles, features, and reviews
about the art world to publish on our website which is
dedicated to all things to do with art.

Editorial Submissions

Fancy yourself as a journalist or art critic? Do you want to share your opinions about the
state of British art? If you are a business and you are looking to promote your products then
Artface can help you to get notice by people interested in art. Artface is always open to
submissions of stories, reviews and articles from our site visitors.

Writers’ Guidelines

You don’t have to be a professional journalist. We are looking for interesting information and
insight into the world of art. If you have some valuable information, news, story, feature,
article, or anything else, drop us an email via the contact link.

If you are not sure if your article is acceptable, appropriate or if you just want some guidance
about how to create your article, email us your ideas via the contact link with a short abstract
and we will provide you with some feedback.

In general, stories, articles and editorials should be between 250 and 1000 words with some
web friendly pictures or illustrations if possible. The size of these should be 800 pixels for
landscape and 650 pixels for portrait. The writer retains the copyright for all editorial
submissions.

Artists’ Guidelines

If you are an established artist or an up and coming one you are welcome to submit your
work on Artface. By signing up and submitting your work you will be presenting it on a site
that will get your work seen by some of the important people and galleries in the UK art
world. For your work to be published on Artface your images need to be the following dimensions: 900
pixels for a landscape format and 650 pixels for a portrait forma
t. Both dimensions should be
72 dpi.
 You also need to include a short bio about yourself. So get your work noticed by the UK art world by signing up to Artface today.

 

Please note that uploading your images and text may take up to one week.


So what do you get out of this?

Why submit your articles or artwork when you are not getting paid for it? You get your name
credited as the author and this can be used for example on a CV.
In addition, we may feature your article or artwork in our forthcoming email newsletter.
At the end of the article or art work, you need include a short bio about yourself or if you
are a company you can tell people about your products and give out your contact
information, which we will link to.
You can also link to your article from your own web page, be it a personal web page or
company.

We reserve the right to publish or not publish any material submitted. All editorial and article
submissions are subject to the approval by the Artface editorial staff and maybe edited,
shortened and/or cleaned up to conform to our editorial style.
To submit your reviews, articles, features, press releases, gallery announcements etc. get in

Although we can’t pay you at this moment in time, this could change in the future.
