Martina Korošec
Martina Korošec (1984) is Slovenian born photographer, living and working in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire. She concluded her BA studies of Sociology of Culture and Pedagogy at Faculty of Arts in Ljubljana, Slovenia in 2009.
Between 1999 and 2004 she was actively engaged with contemporary dance. In the last years, she has been working on photography mostly. In addition, she carried out a series of short films in collaboration with Donald Egoroff, Canadian photographer. She films, choreographs and performs the entire artistic material and he edits it.
Her work is based on two main subjects: self-observation dealing with self-identity, body forms, gravity, illusion; and observation of others documenting human-relationships and specific environments.
