To coincide with the UK premiere of Meryl Streep’s portrayal of Margaret Thatcher in the new movie, The Iron Lady, James Hyman Photography spotlights Helmut Newton’s iconic portrait of Margaret Thatcher.

This famous photograph is widely considered to be Newton’s greatest portrait as well as the greatest portrait ever taken of Margaret Thatcher. This picture is in an edition of just three, but only one other print is known and is in a museum collection (National Portrait Gallery, London).

James Hyman Photography specialises in vintage and contemporary photography and has a focus on British social photography.
